学校简介
华侨大学是中国著名的华侨高等学府，是中国政府重点建设的综合性大学，是国家特色重点学科项目建设的高校，是中国面向海外开展华文教育的主要基地。学校是1960年在周恩来总理关怀下，由国家创办于福建泉州，2004年在厦门兴建新校区，学校直属国务院侨务办公室领导。
华侨大学现有 23 个学院，拥有3个一级学科博士点，18个二级学科博士点；21个一级学科硕士点，103个二级学科硕士点，以及MBA、JM、PA、MF、M.Arch等8种硕士专业学位点；70个本科专业；1个国家重点学科，11个省部级重点学科；3个教育部工程研究中心，3个博士后科研流动站。目前有各类在校生逾3万人，来自35个国家和地区的华侨、港澳台和外国学生4000余人，是全国境外学生最多的大学之一。学校设施完善，气候宜人，环境优美。

二、岗位职责
1.全面主持学院的教学、科研、学科建设和行政管理工作，落实任期目标，完善学院中长期发展规划，着力推进学科建设。
2.负责学院师资队伍建设，制定师资队伍建设规划，大力引进和培育高层次人才，加强创新团队建设，全面提升师资队伍水平。
3.组织学院教师开展学术前沿领域研究，提升教师的学术水平和学院的学术影响力。
4.组织专业建设和课程教学质量改革，探索人才培养新模式，培养具有创新能力的优秀人才。
5.加强国际合作与交流，积极开展与国外知名大学及科研机构的合作，提高学院的国际化水平。
三、应聘条件
1.具有良好的个人品质、敬业精神、创新意识和团队精神，遵守高等学校教师职业道德规范，治学严谨，学风正派。
2.校外应聘者年龄一般在52周岁以下（特殊情况不超过55周岁），身体健康。校内应聘者按学校干部选拔任用规定的年龄执行。
3.应聘者所从事的学科领域工作应是应聘学院学科专业类之一，第一学历为应聘学院主干学科和专业全日制本科毕业，具有博士学位。国内应聘者应担任教授或相应职位，国外应聘者应担任高水平大学副教授（三年以上）及以上职位或其他相应职位。
4.具有较高的教学水平和学术造诣，主持过国家级重要科研项目，并取得较为突出的成果，在同行中有较大影响，入选国家级、省部级人才项目者优先。
5.掌握学科前沿动态和趋势，对学科建设和学术发展有创新性构想，具有组建一支高水平学术团队并带领其协同攻关的能力。
6.具有现代大学办学理念，思路开阔，曾在大学或科研院所工作，熟悉大学教育教学和科学研究规律，曾担任过一定的领导职务，对学院管理和提升学院办学水平有较丰富的经验。
四、聘期与待遇
1.全职在我校工作，聘任为院长，首聘聘期四年（含试用期一年）。聘任期满，经考核合格可协商续聘。
2.首聘期内，根据应聘者个人情况（具体面议），提供年薪40-60万元人民币（税前，下同）,团队建设和科研启动费50-200万元；提供教授工作站周转房。全职调入者，服务期8年，同时提供安家费及住房补贴60万元。
应聘者符合华侨大学学科带头人/学科方向带头人条件的，提供年薪60-100万元，团队建设和科研启动费50-500万元；提供教授工作站周转住房。全职调入者，服务期8年，同时提供安家费及住房补贴80-140万元，或提供110-130平方米具有产权的商品房。
入选国家、省部级高层次人才项目的，入选后享受国家配套待遇。
3.校内应聘者待遇与聘期按学校现有院长的待遇与聘期执行。
五、应聘程序
1.个人报名。应聘者填写《华侨大学公开招聘部分学院院长报名表》，并提供以下材料（材料恕不退还，请自行留底）：
（1）本人身份证或护照、学历学位证书、专业技术职务证书复印件；
（2）近五年教学科研成果清单和3-5篇代表作复印件；
（3）承担的科研项目清单和科研项目证明材料（批文等）。
2.学校审核，确定面试人选。
3.组织面试和考核，面试人员往返路费、住宿费由学校承担。
4.学校研究确定人选并经公示后，签订聘任协议书。

Job Descriptions
A new dean will:
●Take full charge of the School’s teaching, research, disciplinary construction and administration with a focus on formulating and implementing the development plan of the School.
●Formulate faculty recruitment plan and introduce high-level talents from all over the world to promote the overall strength of the faculty.
●Organize the faculty to carry out research on academic frontiers to enhance the academic level of the School.
●Conduct curriculum reforms and explore the talent training mode to cultivate students with creativity.
●Strengthen international cooperation, expand contact with internationally renowned universities, academic organizations or research institutions.
Requirements & Qualifications
A new dean will:
●Show personal attributes, professional dedication, creativity and good teamwork.
●Be physically and mentally healthy under 52 years old.
●Be qualified in a field appropriate to the School with a PHD degree. Priority is given to those who currently hold professorship or associate professorship or other corresponding positions in well-known universities.
●Be an internationally recognized academic leader in a field relevant to the Faculty’s academic portfolio and show high level of teaching and research. Priority is given to those who have secured national grants or selected into national/provincial talent programs.
●Have innovative perspectives toward disciplinary construction and academic development and able to construct and lead a high level academic team.
●Be familiar with the rules and situations of higher education in China with a track record of extensive management experience—ideally within the higher education sector.
Term & Benefits
●The initial appointment will be for 4 years (1-year probationary period included) with opportunity for renewal subject to assessment of performance.
●During the initial appointment, the university will provide an annual salary of 400,000-600,000RMB, start-up scientific research funds of 500,000-2,000,000 RMB and accommodation. The new dean who will work fulltime in Huaqiao University will get 600, 000 RMB for household allowance and subsidies.
●For the new dean who is qualified for academic leaders, the university will provide an annual salary of 600,000-10,00,000RMB, start-up scientific research funds of 500,000-5,000,000 RMB and accommodation. The new dean who will work fulltime in Huaqiao University will get 800,000-1,400,000 RMB for household allowance and subsidies or a house of 110-130 sq m with property right.
If selected into national or provincial talent programs, supporting treatment will be received by national/provincial policies.
